Competition for an addition to the Université Laval Architecture School in Québec, Canada.
This new addition invites visitors off the street and encourages them to become active participants in the design school. The proposal consists of an iconic, snaking 'Way-Finding Form' and a delicate, modern 'Pavilion'. The 'Way-Finding Form' leads visitors into the school's historic courtyard and morphs into a new briefing room, grand staircase and 350-seat amphitheater. The 'Pavilion' serves as the school's central hub; reorganizing the school's informal meeting areas under one welcoming roof.
